Maurizio Gasseau, Associate Professor of Dynamic Psychology at the University of Aosta. Past-Chair of the Psychodrama Section and Board member of International Association of Group Psychotherapy and Group Processes IAGP, is a Jungian analyst, certified psychoterapist and psychodramatist  in Italy as well as leader of training groups all over the world. His main interests are researching dreams in psychodrama in Social Dreaming Matrix and working  on trangenerational topics. He is co-founder of Jungian Psychodrama theory in 1978 and Psychodramatic Social Dreaming Matrix.

In 1996 he founded the Mediterranean Association of Psychodrama with the task to develop psychodrama in the Mediterranean countries and to use Psychodrama and Sociodrama as tools of working on conflict and to facilitate the encounter among the different Mediterranean cultures. He is developing new methods to treat individual and collective trauma in  psychodrama group.

Director of IPAP Postgraduate School of Group Psychotherapy in the University of Ivrea. President of Mediterranean Association of Psychodrama, Past Vice President of the Federation of European Psychodrama Training Organization FEPTO 2000 – 2006.

Co - coordinator of FEPTO Task Force for Peace Building and Conflict Transformation to share experience in intercultural work, working with refugees, using morenian tools.

He has given Conferences on Psychodrama and Group Psychotherapy in the University of Buenos Aires, Porto Alegre, Santiago, London, Istanbul, Nice, Innsbruck, Rome, Palermo, Turin, and Florence.

He is running in 2012-2017 training groups in Egypt, Palestina, Turkey, Greece, Poland, Spain, Sicily, Argentine, Brasil, Chile, Ukraine, Jordan.

 

Author of more than ninety  publications, such as Lo psicodramma junghiano co-edited with Giulio Gasca and  Il sogno. Dalla psicologia analitica allo psicodramma junghiano co-edited with Riccardo Bernardini. He received the Federation European Psychodrama Training Organization Excellence Award in 2017.
